Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

This is a wonderful place to eat. Even when my wife and I came in late at night within an hour of closing time, we were not rushed through our meal. This location is much cleaner than the Newport location. The hard-working team playing staff here makes short work of the long lines that generally spring up here. My only wish they were open much later at night. I'm sure this would greatly satisfy the NKU crowd which seems to dominate the grocery and food market in this area.

This chipotle is usually pretty good, sometimes it's busy at lunch because of the Northern crowd but other than that it's good. Let's be real here, chipotle is always good so the food is good regardless. Carnitas is my favorite, I don't know why I ever wasted my time with chicken :) thanks for the suggestion my handsome man :)

It's chipotle. What can I say. The Newport location by my house is by far my favorite. They aren't stingy with their toppings and are always pretty fast. I started using the online ordering and have run into a few problems with my order not being made though. Its clean and they are very friendly. I'm semi addicted to Chipotle- it has to be the chips.

The tables need to be cleaned/wiped down more often than normally fine here, but this Chipotle is WAAAAY more cleaner than the one in Newport!!! The staff here make it clear that they're happy that you're in the restaurant to buy food from them here, (which is a great thing). The staff are good about getting people through the line as quickly as possible -- which is great. I like how the staff doesn't like it's an inconvience for special requests on the food either.

This Chipotle next to NKU is like any other. The portions are about the same and ingredients are the same. Can't say much except I am glad it is on my way to work after class.

I usually try to avoid CMG around lunch time because the line gets to be so long with everyone wanting the deliciousness at the same time. Tuesday I needed my fix so I picked up a chicken bowl. I mean it is Chipotle .. the food is awesome. I would give this chain 6 stars if it was possible. The only thing that could ruin a Chipotle run would be poor customer service and today it was fine.

Love this place. Great food and excellent service! I live nearby, and this had become a go-to for my family.

Very skimpy on ingredients compared to other Chipotles. This has only been the case for the last few months with new management. They give you a teaspoon of everything unless you ask for more. If you're a healthy eater, you may need to order two. Also the staff and management aren't as friendly as at other locations. I frequent Hyde Park Chipotle and it is by far superior to this location in every respect.

I love Chipotle but this location is disappointing. My burrito was sloppy and falling apart. The employee did not listen to my topping request and messed up my order including the individual behind me. The food prep counters were filthy (around 4pm). The rest of the restaurant was in desperate need of cleaning (food and napkins all over the floor). I will not return to this location.

Awesome food and it is all natural. Great atmosphere. Sometimes there is a line but it's expected, because of the great food. It's a usual stop for me after my gym workouts.

Do not get me wrong I enjoy chipotle but this spot is not on par with all of the chipotles in all of the land. They skimp on all of the fixings, they seem to be under staffed, and every time I go in there is some goofy hold up at the counter even when it's not busy. The workers are as friendly as expected, but there seems to be a contingency of jerks for customers as well. The intersection that it is located on can drive you insane and the parking can be cramped. Two stars, garbage. Only returning out of desperation for burritos. Updated: went back out of desperation for a quick dinner after a long day at work I was beat down and tired did not feel like cooking. Strolling up to the counter I was fifth in line not too terrible, the line was moving any ways. After a short wait one other patron ahead of me, everything stopped. The staff started busting out this massive order, it had to be 25-30 burritos and bowls I remember noticing the list was one and a half pages long. The staff did quite an impressive job of throwing the onslaught together, I did not time the event I was witnessing but the line was already out the door at this point. I had entertained the notion of walking out but did not fallow through. I made my order paid and left with out being up my distain for the goings on, bad timing poor management. This place is right down the street from me and is always inconvenient for me. I'm done not going back I will try to spend my money at locally owned over places such as chipotle.

No different than any other chipotle out there. Friendly staff that loaded my bowl so full I couldn't finish it! They were out if the fajita veggies but were cooking more. They must have been in a hurry to get them out as I had a few raw green peppers. Ohh well, it's the closest location to Covington KY with convenient parking.

You can never go wrong with Chipotle. Food is always fresh, service is fast, place is clean. What more can I say? The corn salsa is like crack.

Chipotles are by in large fairly consistent from location to location and this one is no exception. Fast, friendly service and tasty burritos. I did notice the last time I was here that they offered the option of brown rice, which I liked, but that might be a chain-wide thing. There's never been a long line when I've been (more for dinner than lunch) and always plenty of available parking and seating.

Monday for lunch. 28 people in line. 16 minutes to cash. Guac had avocado rind in it. Steak was cooked perfectly but several pieces had gristle.
(4)Lewis C.
I'm a pretty regular customer here, and its always fantastic. The people I was with wanted their steak more done, so they gladly put it back on the grill- then gave them free drinks for waiting! I ordered a corona, and naturally wished to compliment it with a lime, but they said they had to be cut, so I wasn't worried about it and said nevermind. A few minutes later a bowl of limes was brought to me! Its definitely the little things that count. Keep it up chi-pottle!

Yes, this is a chain restaurant, we all know. So you know what to expect. The food is consistent. They seem to be pretty fast on the service compared to other Chipotle locations I have been to. The place is packed for lunch everyday with college students from NKY. I'm sure 75% of them can't afford a $7 to $8 dollar burrito. But that's fine, chalk it on to the old student loan.

Again, chain restaurant rating... like any other chipotle in look and food quality, so, other than that the staff works quickily and the location in relation to NKU is great, but traffic gets heavy at that interse took anyway, so peak hours are even worse. The small strip mall located also on Wilson will be opening soon, curious how that traffic will then affect this Chipotle, as Jimmy John's will also be going in.

Any location you wanna visit, whether it's Beechmont Ave, this Highland Heights store, Mall Rd in Florence, Fields Ertle Rd or any of the others, Chiplotle is amazing burritos and amazing customer service... I've never had a bad burrito and I've never had a bad experience at any location... My hat's off all 'round...

I'm so glad they built this one so convenient to my office. I use web orders all the time, and for the most part my food is made correctly and promptly. The only minus - and this goes for a lot of other Chipotle locations - is the relative lack of parking during peak times. It would be more understandable if this place hadn't just been carved out of a fairly decent-sized empty lot. You couldn't have made room for a few more parking spots?

The food and portions are good at Chipotle. I have a problem with the room the atmosphere. Concrete floors, stark metal walls and support beams. Very cold and unwelcoming. Isn't part of the restaurant experience supposed to be presentation? Food good dining room horrible. I'll still go back maybe when it warms up (outside).
